Rutgers held its annual ruscarletservice Scarlet Service celebration Monday evening at the College Avenue Student Center to recognize the students, families, nonprofit organizations, and direct-service government offices who made this summer’s internships a success.

President William F. Tate IV, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson, and student interns from each campus shared remarks at the celebration, which highlighted the scope, purpose, and impact of the initiative. Since its inception in 2021, Scarlet Service has supported more than 600 Rutgers students and partnered with more than 150 employers across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. #scarletservice #rutgerspride #wt4ru
