The first unit of one of the most exclusive motorcycles ever produced. A collaboration between two of Britain's most storied performance brands that resulted in something neither could have created alone. The AMB 001 is built around a turbocharged 997cc V-twin producing 180 horsepower in a carbon fibre monocoque chassis — a construction method borrowed directly from Formula 1 rather than motorcycle engineering.

Aston Martin's design team handled the aesthetic language. Brough Superior — the manufacturer whose pre-war machines were described by T.E. Lawrence as the Rolls-Royce of motorcycles — handled the mechanical engineering. The result is track-only, weighs 180kg, and was priced at $108,000 USD at launch.

Unit 001 of 100 carries a significance beyond its specification — it is the beginning of a conversation between two British icons that the motorcycle world had not anticipated and immediately could not look away from.
