The combination nobody asked for but everybody needed.

Production of the road-legal R6 ended in Europe in 2020 - a casualty of Euro5 emissions legislation that the 599cc inline-four was never updated to meet. What remains is one of the most driver-focused 600cc supersports ever built. A crossplane-inspired engine that revs to 17,500rpm, and a chassis so precisely engineered that it continued in World Supersport competition long after road sales ended.

In green with exposed carbon fibre panels the R6 looks less like a discontinued model and more like a machine that was always ahead of what the regulations were prepared to accommodate.

Some bikes get better looking with age. The R6 is one of them.
