How are you supposed to go back to a normal hobby after this?

A mountain road. No traffic. Just two riders, a string of perfectly linked corners, and the kind of flow state that very few other things in life can replicate. Once you have felt a road like this disappear beneath you at lean, everything else starts to feel like a compromise. Golf does not do it. The gym does not do it. Nothing else quite reaches the same place in your brain that a perfect set of switchbacks does. 

This is not a hobby anymore. It is the thing everything else gets measured against.
