Aprilia has just put MotoGP technology on a road legal motorcycle — and nothing like this has ever existed before.

The RSV4 XGP arrives as the most technically extraordinary Aprilia ever offered to the public — and its headline achievement is something the motorcycle industry has never seen. Carbon-carbon brakes. The same braking technology used exclusively by factory MotoGP machines — developed for the extreme thermal demands of racing at 220mph — now road homologated and fitted to a production motorcycle for the first time in history.

The 65-degree V4 engine, the APRC electronics suite derived directly from Aprilia Racing's MotoGP programme, and an aerodynamic package developed alongside the RS-GP26 that is currently leading every championship standing in MotoGP simultaneously.
