The truck slows. The car closes the gap from the other direction. And somewhere in between, a rider threads a needle that had no business still being open. The decision was already made before the situation changed — and by the time the brain catches up the only option left is to commit completely and hope the physics agree. Whether that is skill, instinct, or fortune is a debate worth having. What is not up for debate is how close that actually was.
