25-year-old Brian Morales grew up in Mexico but was born in Colorado. After being pulled over near Austin, Texas, he was detained by immigration authorities who said he was in the country illegally, despite repeatedly telling them he was a U.S. citizen and offering to show his birth certificate and Social Security card. He says he was coerced by DHS into signing deportation papers and put on a plane to Mexico.
