A bookstore… that also serves sandwiches?! 📚🥪✨ Novel in Rochester is officially on my list of the cutest and most unique places to check out in Metro Detroit. Novel is a husband-and-wife-owned book and sandwich shop that combines two things I can absolutely get behind: good food and good books. Their menu features hot panini-style sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and house-made sauces, while the shop also has a curated selection of books for both kids and adults — from new releases and bestsellers to classic favorites. 📖 And if you’re a book lover, it gets even better. Novel hosts monthly community book clubs, and their book club experiences include both the book AND a sandwich, which might be one of the best combinations ever. 😂 This is such a fun spot to add to your Rochester, Michigan itinerary if you’re looking for something different to do — grab lunch, browse for your next read, meet up with a friend, or turn it into a little solo date.
