Acquired largely at retail more than twenty years ago by one discerning collector, it combines mechanical achievement with an uncommon level of foresight, bringing together grand complications by Patek Philippe, A. Lange & Söhne, and Breguet at a time when many of these references were appreciated by only a small circle of connoisseurs.

From a rare Patek Philippe Ref. 844 linear perpetual calendar minute-repeating pocket watch and a Tourbillon ‘Pour le Mérite’ to a Richard Lange ‘Pour le Mérite’ and two nineteenth-century complicated pocket watches by Patek Philippe and Breguet, the offering celebrates the world of watchmaking at its highest level.
