Wrap flat 2D text around your subject in true 3D — completely without AI. This tutorial covers duplicating your text into a front and back layer, warping each one into a cylinder shape, sandwiching your subject between them, and even casting a realistic shadow from your subject onto the text.

THE STEPS
1. Type your text twice on separate layers, one for "front" and one for "back"
2. Align both layers, then warp each into a Cylinder shape with opposite curves
3. Select your subject, duplicate it to a new layer, and place it between the front and back text
4. Link the two text layers together so they always move as one unit
5. Duplicate the subject again, fill it black, and nudge it down to build a shadow shape
6. Clip the shadow layer to the text with Alt/Option-click, then convert for Smart Filters
7. Add a Gaussian Blur to the shadow so it reads naturally on the text below
