Today is World Preeclampsia Day. 

Preeclampsia is a serious pregnancy complication that can be easy to miss and it's more common than you might think. 

It usually shows up after 20 weeks of pregnancy and is marked by high blood pressure, along with symptoms like:

➡️ Severe headaches
➡️ Changes in vision
➡️ Upper abdominal pain
➡️ Sudden swelling in the hands, feet, or face

If you’re pregnant and something feels off, don’t wait. Call your provider right away, and if your symptoms are concerning and you can’t reach your medical team, seek emergency care.
