USA vs. France for gold. We're seated. 🏀 ⁣
⁣
The U.S. is heading back to the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup final after surviving its toughest test of the tournament. 🇺🇸⁣
⁣
After trailing by as many as nine points and entering the fourth quarter tied at 58–58, Team USA closed the game on a 12–2 run to beat Spain 76–66. 💪⁣
⁣
Breanna Stewart finished with 16 points, Kahleah Copper added 13, and the Americans are now one win away from making history.🔥⁣
⁣
Standing in their way? France. 🇫🇷⁣
⁣
France advanced with a dominant 86–64 win over host Germany behind Gabby Williams' 22-point performance, setting up a rematch of the 2024 Paris Olympic gold medal game that Team USA won by just one point. 👀⁣
⁣
The U.S. has won 35 consecutive Women's World Cup games, dating back to 2006, and is chasing a fifth straight World Cup title, a streak that would tie the all-time record for consecutive championships. 🏆⁣
⁣
Sunday's final is appointment viewing. 🍿⁣
