Taj Gibson spent 17 years in the NBA and it always felt like there was a little piece of Chicago that stayed with him.

He played with the heart, toughness and passion that made him so easy for Bulls fans to love, eventually becoming the kind of veteran every locker room needs. Now, after 1,012 games and nearly two decades in the league, he’s stepping into the next chapter as a Bulls assistant coach.
