This heatwave in CA has us ready to crash out like Arnold and Gerald did on the Jolly Olly Man! No ice cream, no peace!🍦😡

In the 1996 Hey Arnold! episode “Heat,” a severe heatwave pushes the residents of Hillwood to their breaking point, culminating in the Jolly Olly Man drastically price-gouging the neighborhood kids for ice cream. This extortion prompts an unusually agitated Arnold to instigate a full-blown riot against the ice cream truck, which is only stopped when a sudden, refreshing rainstorm finally breaks the sweltering temperatures.
