'Blood of My Blood' season 2 is nothing short of explosive. 

No, literally. Jamie Roy, who stars as Brian Fraser in the hit 'Outlander' prequel, tells EW that he and costar Sam Retford dodged real explosions and got covered head-to-toe in flying peat while shooting a battle sequence in a Scottish field with 200 extras for the upcoming season.

“The stunt guys and special effects dudes were like, ‘Okay, so we’ve got bombs going off here as you run through them so, for the love of God, please make sure you run in this channel here, because if you don’t…,’” jamie.roy_ says, letting the deadly implications hang in the air. “Originally, we had these posts so we could see [the bombs] and then, obviously, when they film, they take away the posts, so you just have to remember where to run.”
