As CHS Volleyball heads into tonight’s first rivalry meeting of the season, here’s a fun look at those pursuing excellence every day behind the Blue Doors and for coach Dan Johnson.

Canisius is at St. Joe’s at 6:30 p.m. tonight for the first of three Monsignor Martin Athletic Association matches this season. 

The Crusaders and their first-year coach opened their season with a sweep at St. Francis and this past weekend participated in the meeting of perennial powers at the Clarence Tournament, where CHS swept Orchard Park to make the final four before falling to top Section V (Rochester area) program Fairport.

CHS takes part in the Eden Tournament at Niagara Frontier Sports’ The Rock in West Seneca on Saturday; the Crusaders’ home opener is against another top local program as Hamburg visits at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
