In October 2025, 14 women took part in the second Women’s Test at Valencia in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Six hours of running. One chance to show what they could do. But for some, the opportunity continued beyond that day.

abbipulling finished second in 1:22.831, just 0.064s off the fastest time. Her earlier Women’s Test opportunity had already helped lead to a Rookie & Simulator Driver role with Nissan. In 2026, she added more Formula E mileage in Miami and Madrid.

racerbia finished third in 1:23.537 and progressed into an official Development Driver role with CUPRA KIRO, before returning for the Madrid Rookie Test.

chloechambersracing topped the test with a 1:22.767 for Mahindra Racing. She later returned for Miami Rookie Free Practice.

ellalloyd continued building experience with another GEN3 Evo opportunity at the Madrid Rookie Test, her fourth.

nereamarti32 followed a different path. Her Women’s Test participation helped develop her relationship with Andretti, leading to a Team Ambassador role alongside simulator work.

Five different journeys.
One common thread: the opportunity kept moving.

ABB FIA Formula E says its two Women’s Tests have given 21 women the chance to drive the GEN3 Evo, with six securing rookie or official development roles and four moving into permanent team positions.

That’s progress. But there’s still a bigger milestone ahead.
