512TB in one enterprise SSD, and just two of them gets you to 1PB. DapuStor’s new R6060 E2 doubles the company’s 245TB drive from late last year. It runs PCIe 5.0 and NVMe 2.0 on 3D QLC NAND with DapuStor’s in-house DP800 controller, the same silicon in the 122TB R6060 we reviewed in May, and an E3.L version is planned. For data centers limited by power, cooling, or floor space, density at this level cuts the number of drives, bays, and watts per petabyte.
