Las Vegas has always known how to shine, but nobody made this city sparkle quite like Bob Mackie bobmackie

Today, the world lost a true visionary and the master of glamour. From Hollywood soundstages to the grand stages of the Las Vegas Strip, Bob didn’t just design costumes-he defined an era. His legendary, larger-than-life creations for Jubilee! gave the classic Las Vegas showgirl her ultimate silhouette: towering headdresses, cascading feathers, and unapologetic extravagance.

In a town built on spectacle, larger-than-life personalities, and timeless style, his genius helped write the visual history of Las Vegas.

Rest in peace to the “Sultan of Sequins”. Las Vegas will shine a little less bright tonight. #bobmackie #lasvegas #rip
