Don’t miss this! 👀 Twice a year, a cougar-shaped shadow that looks like it’s chasing its prey appears across the Superstition Mountains.

This unique illusion happens around sunset near the spring and fall equinoxes. This year, your best chance to catch it is September 13-19, around 6–6:30 PM, when the setting sun creates the famous silhouette across the western face of the mountains. 🌄

📍 Best viewing spot: Near Superstition Blvd. & Goldfield Rd. in Apache Junction.
