🦌 A newborn fawn sitting still on a couch while someone runs a comb through its fur  ears up, mouth slightly open, completely at ease. Fawns are born with almost no scent to avoid attracting predators, and gentle handling like this mimics the grooming a doe provides in the first days of life. The white spots fade within a few months as the fawn grows its adult coat. #animals #deer
