The greatest city in the whole world. Forever proud to call New York home.

In 2001, i was in middle school when we suddenly had to evacuate, hide under our desks, and eventually were sent home in the middle of the day. I was too young to fully understand what was happening, but I will never forget how that day felt.

9/11 is never an easy day. Today, I’m remembering the lives lost, honoring the courage of the first responders, and thinking of every family and community forever changed.

New York’s strength, resilience, and spirit have shaped so much of who I am. I will always be grateful to call this city mine.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🤍
