Show creator Malcolm Spellman joins acclaimed songwriter Jason Martin and legendary music journalist Sway Calloway for a conversation exploring the vital role music plays in The Drop: A Snowfall Saga. Together, they unpack how the soundtrack shapes the series' emotional landscape, reflects the culture of 1990s Los Angeles, and serves as a driving force in Wanda and Leon's journey. From storytelling and authenticity to the lasting impact of West Coast hip-hop, the trio examines why music is more than a backdrop, it's a character in the story itself.
