“I’ve never seen Formula 1 be this painfully boring. No fighting. No real rivals. No thrilling battles.” 

That’s some of the words I’ve copied from what I saw from one “fan” recently. I assure you, this isn’t the most boring season of F1. Not even the most boring in the last couple years, much less the past bunch of decades with Senna, Schumacher, Vettel, Hamilton and Verstappen destroying everyone in the field. THAT’S JUST F1. It’s not a spec series. It’s a technology championship where each car is made from the vision of the team and how they interpret the rulebook. 

Sometimes one team or driver nails it from the start. And everyone plays catch up. As always, as the regulations mature, the title battles will get closer. And then we start all over again with new regulations. But until then, appreciate what this young man is doing. The energy and personality he brings to the sport which is far far far far more than most of the others beside him.
