What if the person you’ve been waiting to choose you… is YOU? ❤️

For most of my life, I thought being chosen was proof that I was worthy.

Chosen by a partner.
Chosen by a friend.
Chosen for an opportunity.

And when I wasn’t chosen, I didn’t just feel disappointed. I made it mean something about me.

Maybe I wasn’t good enough.
Interesting enough.
Talented enough.
Worthy enough.

But someone else’s decision was never supposed to determine my value.

Sometimes you won’t get picked. Sometimes someone will walk away. Sometimes the opportunity will go to someone else.

That is rejection. It is not a definition.

Stop handing other people the pen and letting them write the story of your worth.

Choose yourself. 💛
