Floral Park’s Sewanhaka High School will be closed on Monday due to "significant" water damage from a "plumbing issue" over the weekend, officials said.

"This decision was made in the interest of student and staff safety, and out of an abundance of caution, after our facilities team assessed the extent of the damage," school Superintendent Regina Agrusa said.
