## Caption

Romanticizing the whimsy and the rage. The flowers on the table and the occasional urge to flip it. The love letters and the strongly worded emails. The daydreams, the righteous indignation, the dramatic walks home, the buying-yourself-flowers-about-it-all.

Because perhaps the secret isn’t choosing between being soft or furious, sentimental or incensed. Perhaps it’s letting them coexist. Believing wholeheartedly in magic while still paying very close attention to reality.

After all, a woman contains multitudes. Mine just happen to be romantic, mildly theatrical, occasionally enraged — and still determined to find something beautiful anyway.

Wearing a pair of manoloblahnik heels which emerged unscathed after this little stunt. And the flowers were very much wilted after a week at my apartment so I decided to send them off to the compost bin in style.
