Week 2 humbled a lot of preseason predictions. 🏈

A ranked opponent got run off the field, the highest-scoring game in a 37-year rivalry needed double overtime, an ancient rivalry came down to the final play, a 36-point underdog pulled off the upset of the year, and eight programs got a hard reality check against Power Four competition. Here's how it all shook out:

South Carolina State University scstatefb 66, Virginia State University 0 — The Bulldogs blanked a team that walked in ranked No. 2 in Division II, forcing five turnovers and moving to 3-0 on the season.

North Carolina Central University nccueaglepride 30, North Carolina A&T ncataggies 22 — The 98th Eagle-Aggie Classic came down to a fourth-quarter interception at the goal line.
