📍Linden, VA + surrounding areas - Bae and I put together a cabin getaway with friends over the long Labor Day weekend! (and they brought their dogs!! 🥰)

Some must-dos in the area included:
🍦drive a bit to charlottesville for apple picking at cartermountain and checked out farmersmarketatix for the first time! (stop by stroopwafelsisters! I like the crisp 😍) so many interesting options never knew about it when I was a student at uva 🥹
🍦pit stopped at bucees real quick (first time at va location!) and head to rt11potatochips ! (so many samples!)
🍦car enthusiast friends drove around Shenandoah! I got to ride in their cars from Linden to Charlottesville! 😌
🍦spelunkersburgers (always yes to this recc by happy_dmv! we went two days in a row!)
🍦hiking at white oak canyon trail (found by bae!) there are so many watering holes and pretty waterfalls! probably a top fave Shenandoah area hike
🍦fun in-airbnb activities: I always wanted to try the honey deuce (us open!) and my friend made it every night! V good 😌 boomerang fu switch game + tried to watch the big short but failed to continue + watched arco (was ehh) + I baked apple pie using cartermountain apples! + friend made shakshuka! + all the watermelon and popcorn!
🍦explore the blandyexperimentalfarm ! they have a bamboo garden! (I think I came here for a field trip before)
