Attorneys representing #SeanCombs, better known as #Diddy, in a lawsuit have asked a judge to allow them to withdraw from the case, citing unpaid legal fees and difficulties communicating with him.

According to huffpost, Attorney Michael Tremonte claims Combs owes a “substantial” amount in legal fees, hasn’t made a payment since late 2025 and has been unavailable for timely communication about his cases for more than four months. The attorneys are also seeking to hold onto certain case materials until the outstanding fees are paid.

Combs, however, tells a different story. Through a spokesperson, he says he decided to switch attorneys because he believes he was being overcharged for expenses he did not approve. Tremonte denied that claim, maintaining that Combs has unpaid invoices and has become uncooperative.

The dispute stems from Combs’ lawsuit against Nexstar Media, Ariel Mitchell and Courtney Burgess over claims aired on NewsNation’s “Banfield.” Combs alleges the reporting included false statements about him.
