In this #TSRInvestigates exclusive, jus2ice obtained video showing what happened before the shooting in Buford, Georgia, a suburb of #Atlanta in Gwinnett County. Kehonia Vick says the conflict began after her 12-year-old son got into a fight with another child. She says the other boy’s father later confronted her family and allegedly fired shots.

The father and his wife deny those allegations and say their family was the victim of serious gun violence. They provided video they say shows Vick’s sons holding a large firearm before shots were fired.

Vick’s two adult sons, 18-year-old Camari Warner and 23-year-old Armani Warner, have been jailed since June while facing aggravated assault, terroristic threats and misdemeanor cruelty to children charges. Their mother says they were trying to protect the family. Police say detectives reviewed video and other evidence and determined the circumstances did not support the use of force against Malcolm Davis under Georgia’s Stand Your Ground law.
