Kevin Nash says his 2002 quad tear cost WWE a Kliq angle that was in the works.

On Kliq This, Nash said he came back from a torn bicep three weeks early and got hurt in his first match back. "We could have maybe done something and gotten Paul to get involved with us, to where that would have been like the Kliq angle, like finally do the Kliq angle. But I f***ed that up when I blew my leg out, because Shawn was back. Shawn was back in the mix."

Nash said he warned management before it happened. "I remember looking at Vince and Steph and saying, doing this kind of s*** when people aren't cleared and ain't been in the ring is exactly how f***ing people get hurt." On his own decision to return early: "Why, if you were that sure that it was that bad of an idea in your heart, why did you still do it?"

He said WWE paid him the whole time he was out. "Back then, you had six months, and then you didn't get paid by WWE. That was the standard. You were paid full 100 percent for six months, and then when you returned is when you got paid. I went nine months and a week before I showed up on TV, and I got every check."

Elsewhere on the show, Nash named Scott Hall vs. The Undertaker as the dream match that never happened, specifically the Undertaker of the Shawn Michaels and Triple H era. On Steve Austin: "People don't realize how great of a worker Steve was back when he was just Stunning Steve. Southern style wrestling." On Bobby Heenan: "Everybody always thinks that Bobby was like this card, always laughing. He was one of the most miserable pricks, and I loved it."
