New bean cake unlocked + the story behind all the iterations it took to get to the right texture. This one is a chocolate-frosted peanut butter cake made with chickpeas! Comment CHICKPEA to get a link to the recipe.

For this recipe, you’ll need:

1 15 oz can chickpeas, drained 
4 large eggs 
3/4 cup + 2 tbsp granulated sugar 
7 tbsp natural salted peanut butter 
7 tbsp cornstarch 
5 tbsp neutral oil 
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp kosher salt
