Samoa cookie bars for day 4 of my holiday cookie box series!! Comment COOKIES for the recipe ✨

Making the original cut out Samoa cookies were so fun but probably took 5x the amount of time it took to make this bar version (thank you lauren_fisk for the idea)! 

Flaky shortbread, toasty coconut and a buttery salted caramel—these will be a hit in any cookie box or at any cookie swap 😍

If you’re scared of making caramel sauce at home lmk what your questions are and I’m happy to answer them! 

Ps. I love the ghirardelli chocolate melting wafers for the chocolate topping. They melt and harden like a dream!
