A close cousin to coffee cake (but distinct from my coffee cake bake off), crumb cake is all about a plush cake topped with a thick layer of buttery crumbs. How can you go wrong?? I feel like throwing in a layer of softly cooked apples into the middle would be the perfect fall move 🍂
