Looking for an active South Devon basecamp where you can launch a paddleboard straight from camp? Join Martin Dorey at Steamer Quay Club Campsite as he demonstrates how to make the most of a active getaway in Totnes.

Situated right on the banks of the River Dart, Steamer Quay is the ultimate launchpad for waterborne adventures. It is also just a short drive up away from Dartmoor National Park where you can scramble up the iconic granite outcrop of Haytor Rocks, soaking in sweeping panoramic views across the Dartmoor.

After a morning on the moor, Martin heads back to the campsite inflates his SUP at his pitch and glides down the serene, tide-assisted stretches of the River Dart. Before rounding out the day, for an evening campsite BBQ*.

*This video was filmed prior to any BBQ bans being implemented across our Club Campsites.
