Birthday present was to ask to watch Dominion with my family - the update:

Yesterday for my birthday I asked my family to watch Dominion with me (it’s free on YouTube). I want them to know the truth and choose what feels right in their heart.

I learned of this idea from joeybilotich who had mentioned it worked for his family. So. I spent 2 months wondering how to ask my family to do this until I realized my birthday is right here. And if I were in their shoes I’d really want to see this footage to know the truth. So I asked. And they all said yes. I know they love me and they did this for me.

Dominion is beyond informative. If you haven’t watched it vegan or not you are really missing out. There are so many things that happen to animals by humans and knowledge is power. How can we fight against abuse if we don’t even know all the crimes?

Outcome: my sister (shoutout alainathomass ) said she was going vegan. And her husband said only a few things would need to be removed to make the household vegan. I think it’s a huge win. I’m so proud of them and hope they can see they are so capable of speaking up and standing up for the animals. Almost none of us are born vegan, we all needed help to wake up. Let’s keep helping.
