## Caption

Our history belongs to the American people—not to the President!

The Smithsonian, the Kennedy Center, and our nation’s cultural institutions exist to celebrate and preserve our stories, our art, and the full history of who we are—even when they are hard stories to tell. Because, it’s our story as a nation, and it belongs to all of us!

That’s why Reps. Kweisi Mfume, Jonathan Jackson, and I are fighting to protect the Smithsonian.
