How a capsule wardrobe is actually affecting me⬇️

1. I’m wayyy less stressed picking out outfits (this has always been an issue for me and still can be sometimes)

2. I feel like I have MORE clothes even with less because everything works together. I have MORE options VS a bunch of cool (but random) pieces that are tough to style and take a lot of thought + time to put together. 

3. I feel WAY better about consuming intentionally vs random overconsumption (it sucks to admit but a lot of the clothes I’ve bought in the past just went to waste)

4. I actually end up spending LESS in the long run and saving money because I’m not shopping as much and I’m really happy with the pieces I have. Timeless > trend (still slowly learning what all this means I’m definitely not an expert lol) 

5. I’m unlearning a lot of things and accepting that this is a slow learning PROCESS!!!! I’m on my own journey with it and I’ve been really proud of the way I’ve seen myself grow in this area. I definitely make mistakes with it and that’s okay but it’s about working every day to create a life that I enjoy living :) 

Also disclaimer - yes I love buying higher end pieces but I’m also a HUGE thrifter. I’ll go through phases of saving money / intentionally putting money aside for this. You can do this slowly over time and way cheaper of course but for me it just comes down to brand / feel / fit preference and I personally only want to have pieces I absolutely LOVE.  I find I save more when I buy the actual piece I really want vs a dupe because I’ll end up not happy with it and just buying the one I originally wanted too 😂 so just personal preference there
