Have you considered hiking to Machu Picchu?

We decided to hike to one of the 7 Wonders of the World via the 5-Day ‘Salkantay Trek’ for a couple reasons…

1️⃣ Campsites - the Salkantay trek allows you to camp in some epic stays. For 3 nights, we stayed in salkantaytrekking’s incredible ‘domes’. (When hiking the famous ‘Inca Trail’, only tents are permitted.)
•
2️⃣ Mountains Lakes, AND Jungle - the Salkantay trek allows you to experience two of the most gorgeous mountain passes and lakes, we’ve ever seen…

3️⃣ Did we say MOUNTAINS?! 🏔️🏔️ No seriously… this sold us on selecting the Salkantay vs the Inca trail. AND, if you prefer not to hike up to 15,500 feet, you can opt to ride a sweet mule! 🐎

No matter which trail you select, hiking in Peru is one of the most magical experiences you may ever have!! 🥹
