Let’s take a short hike to see one of California’s prettiest alpine lakes! 🥾 It’s about an hour south of Lake Tahoe, and we can’t believe more people don’t know about it! 😮 Shealor Lake is tucked into Eldorado National Forest near Highway 88, and the hike is just 1.2 miles each way. 🌲

After an uphill stretch, you’ll crest the ridge and get your first look at the lake. ⛰️ From there, it’s a downhill walk to clear water. If you’re lucky, you might even see a waterfall flowing straight into the lake. Have you heard of this hidden gem hike? 💎
