Danielle Henry applied to veterinary school more than 20 times. Today she's a third-year student at Michigan, earning thousands in DVM scholarships, and doing exceptionally well. In this episode, Dr. María Juárez Byrd sits down with Danielle to talk about what kept her going, how the MVS program prepared her for vet school's curriculum and application process, and what she'd tell every struggling applicant right now.

The Master of Veterinary Science (MVS) at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine is an online or on-campus degree designed to meet animal health professionals at all stages of their careers, whether you're preparing for veterinary school, advancing in your current role, or building a new path in animal health.
