#ThankfulThursday 🧡

When the Spokane fires hit, we didn’t hesitate to share the supplies we had on hand with families who needed them. That included most of our entire enrichment inventory we had onsite for the animals in our care.

Then our friends at Nylabone, Cadet and Four Paws stepped up in a BIG way.

After hearing about the need, they sent an incredible shipment to help us replenish what had been distributed, including Nylabone enrichment toys, Cadet treats and Four Paws Wee-Wee Pads. And as you can see, some of our current residents were more than happy to put the new toys to the test. 🐶

This generous support has already made a difference and will continue to do so. For families and pets in need, displaced animals, dogs who come to SHS through surrender, transfer or other circumstances, and animals in foster care, these supplies provide enrichment, familiarity and comfort during times of transition, helping each animal along the way toward their Better Tomorrow.

We are incredibly thankful for partners who see a community in need and ask, “How can we help?”

Thank you, Nylabone, Cadet and Four Paws, for helping us replenish, prepare and keep creating Better Tomorrows.
