Georgia really was running position drills mid game💀

Georgia took care of business in its SEC opener, beating Arkansas 45–17 in Fayetteville — but one moment during the blowout caught plenty of attention.

With Georgia leading 31–3 in the second half, defensive line coach Tray Scott had his players running individual drills during a TV timeout. ESPN’s Dusty Dvoracek said he had never seen a team use a timeout that way during a game. 

Kirby Smart explained afterward that Scott felt the defensive line wasn’t getting enough work because Arkansas wasn’t running the ball or being physical enough. The Razorbacks finished with just 17 rushing yards, while Georgia rolled for 254 yards on the ground in the 45–17 win. 

Running position drills in the middle of an SEC road game is a different level of disrespect
