Auburn hasn’t won a home SEC game since 2024💀

Auburn and Florida are renewing an old SEC rivalry this Saturday night, and the Tigers will be trying to end a streak that has quietly stretched for nearly two years.

Despite Jordan-Hare Stadium being regarded as one of college football’s toughest environments, Auburn has not won an SEC game at home since Nov. 23, 2024.

That last victory came in one of the wildest games of the 2024 season.

Auburn jumped out to a 21–0 lead over No. 15 Texas A&M before the Aggies stormed back and eventually forced overtime. The game went all the way to a fourth extra period, where Payton Thorne connected with KeAndre Lambert-Smith for a two-point conversion before Auburn’s defense stopped Texas A&M on its final attempt.

Auburn 43. Texas A&M 41. Four overtimes.

The Tigers haven’t beaten another SEC opponent inside Jordan-Hare since.

Auburn lost its home conference games against Vanderbilt, Georgia, Missouri and Kentucky during the 2025 season, meaning Saturday represents another opportunity to finally snap the drought.

And the opponent makes it even more interesting.

Florida hasn’t played at Auburn since 2011.

The Gators and Tigers were once annual opponents, meeting every season from 1945 through 2002. Conference expansion eventually pushed the rivalry aside, and Saturday will be only the fifth meeting between the programs since 2002.

The last time Florida walked into Jordan-Hare, Auburn won 17–6 behind a defense that forced four Gator turnovers.

Auburn has actually dominated the series on the Plains historically, holding a 26–8–1 record against Florida at home and winning the last three meetings there. The Tigers also lead the overall series 43–39–2.

Florida vs. Auburn is back.
