Watch the Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve Story Trailer, offering a deeper look at the war, characters, and emotional journey at the heart of Bandai Namco’s next mainline Ace Combat game. The story takes place in Strangereal in July 2029, as the Federation of Central Usea struggles to survive after a devastating invasion by the Republic of Sotoa.

In ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE, players begin as a fighter pilot rescued by the aging aircraft carrier Endurance after the FCU’s military has been scattered and much of the nation occupied. Given the legendary name “Wings of Theve,” the player becomes a symbol of hope and joins three fellow pilots in a desperate campaign to reclaim their homeland.

Developed by Bandai Namco Aces, ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE combines fast-paced aerial combat with cinematic first-person storytelling, dynamic cloudscapes, real-world fighter aircraft, and both single-player and multiplayer modes. The game launches October 2, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
