📷 HEISMAN PORTRAIT OF THE WEEK: Rashaan Salaam 💥

Rashaan Salaam made history as cubuffsfootball's first Heisman Trophy winner after becoming just the third Division I player to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season.

After emerging as a key contributor as a sophomore, Salaam delivered a dominant junior campaign, recording 10 100-yard games, including four over 200 yards. He finished with 2,055 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns while averaging an impressive 7.61 yards per carry, leading Colorado to a 10–1 regular season and a No. 4 national ranking.

Salaam capped his Heisman season with a three-touchdown performance in the Fiesta Bowl, helping Colorado finish 11–1 and No. 3 in the final rankings.
