Art is subjective, so why can’t AI make art?

Nobody was judging the work. They were judging the effort they imagined behind it. 

AI did not break anyone’s taste. It deleted the effort signal people were using instead of taste, and now everyone
is scrambling to put it back by hand. 

Which is the bit we keep circling back to at the Hub.

Nine years in and the thing that actually holds is not
the output. It is that people build in front of each other. 

The scarce thing in 2026 is not the ability to make. It is the
witness. 👀
