Public policy needs scientists and engineers, like you.

The Optica/MRS Congressional Fellowship brings your early career in science to the U.S. federal workforce; where you can make an impact on public policy.

As a Congressional Fellow, you work as a legislative assistant for a member of Congress or a congressional committee, bridging the gap between technical expertise and decision-making in a one-year program.

By playing a key role in public policy, guiding how science is used in government and improving the scientific community's relationship with Congress, the Fellowship establishes a foundation for early-career scientists and engineers to launch a career in policy.

Make a difference and apply by 04 December; link in our bio.
