College football has a new name you need to know.

Jesse Legree arrived at Oregon State as the kind of recruit who’s easy to miss.

5’9”. 160 pounds. Spent most of his high school career playing defensive back. Didn’t even move to wide receiver until his senior year at St. Frances Academy.

Now?

🏆 Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Week
🏆 Back-to-back Pac-12 Freshman of the Week
📈 One of the biggest breakout stories of the young season

Sometimes recruiting tells you who you’re supposed to watch.

Then Saturdays tell you who you should’ve been watching all along.

Remember the name: Jesse Legree.
